Master Production Scheduler

A new 24 month contract opportunity has arisen for a Master Production Scheduler in the Wolverhampton area.
The purpose of the role is to manage and implement the master production scheduling process for multiple product groups ensuring customer needs are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner within the framework of the Sales and Operations Planning process.
This is a 24 month fixed term contract to backfill for current Master Production Scheduler during secondment to business process transformation project.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Receive, input and update customer schedules, for production planning
- Create build plan in line with demonstrated output , based on demand forecast.
- Liaise with customers and internal process partners. (what is outcome expected from interface with customers and process partners)
- Run daily IPT meetings, collate and report LOTD and MPS data.
Process Owner for SandOP process
- Liaise with marketing and sales organisation to manage customer demand
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Graduate / equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years relevant job experience.
- Experienced at Material Planning / Scheduling / supply chain
- Good working knowledge of material control, purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing operations.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Experienced at working in a fast moving / changing environment.
