Company specialising in the design, manufacture, supply and installation of pallet racking, shelving, lockers and other storage systems for organisations large or small, to local and international clients. This company is looking to recruit a Project Engineer.
As a Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:
Managing Engineering Capital Projects and generating Lean Manufacturing projects. This includes selection and management of sub-contractors and suppliers.
Maintain a close relationship with the Maintenance teams at both plants to identify key items of Plant and Equipment for future capital expenditure.
Ensure that all projects comply with the required Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and promote a culture of Compliance for all future Engineering projects.
At inception provide detailed Project Timing Plans and report and manage progress accordingly.
Personal Requirements:
HND Level Mechanical / Electrical Engineer.
Project Management experience including a proven track record in managing sub-contractors and suppliers.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
Knowledge of Press Tooling, Roll Forming, Robotic and Manual MIG and Spot Welding and Powder Coat painting processes would be a significant advantage.
Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD and SAP knowledge and experience would again be an advantage.
