The sports cars will continue to be hand-built and bespoke but the company also use the latest high technology processes and leading edge disciplines in a very modern environment. It is profitable, growing in a rapid but controlled manner and moving into new global markets. As a result it is seeking to add to the Body Engineering team to ensure the continued delivery of world class Vehicle Safety Electronics
To deliver Vehicle Safety Electronic Component Integration across car lines ensuring program targets and legislative requirements are met.

  • Establish and confirm Vehicle, System and Component level targets (legal requirements, OEM, SAE, industry standard practice etc).
  • Performance delivery of passive safety electronic systems
  • Accountable for engineering releases of all safety electronic components across car line
  • Management of external suppliers towards delivery of restraints electronic systems
  • Safety Electronics Program Module Sub-Team (PMST) meetings
  • DVP and supplier tests for safety electronics components (ongoing control/review)
  • Manage the budgets for supplier costs and delivery to objectives
  • Accountable for Engineering Signoff/Approval of System/Component performance
    *Engineering Signoff documentation
    *Legal and Certification tests/Reports
  • Drive engineering issue resolution to meet all program targets and constraints
  • Accountable for concern resolution process for all safety electronic components
  • System integration to ensure safety electronics integration with vehicle electrical
    Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree (or equivalent).
    Intuitive knowledge of fundamental electrical and mechanical engineering theory.
    Evidence of enthusiasm for the role will be important
    Excellent organisational skills.
    Self starting and self motivated.
