This company leads the world in integrated engine and powertrain solutions from clean sheet design concept through castings, manufacture and vehicle installation to calibration, onboard diagnostics and telemetry.
To manage the assembly production facility. To contribute as a senior manager to the management team and commercial success of the operation. To ensure that all products are manufactured/ assembled in line with customer requirement of cost, quality and delivery and meet all productivity costs and quality targets.

• Degree level education
• German Speaking essential
• Proven senior line management experience - essential
• Project management experience - essential
• Proven LEAN experience and implementation essential
• To manage Production Supervisors, Team Leaders and non production support personnel by setting objectives and targets to monitor performance
• To be responsible for the control of allocated cost centre budgets, ensuring no overspend occurs
• Preparation of departmental strategies, budgets and resource plans, including departmental and individual targets and ensuring no overspend occurs
• To ensure all production processes are maintained and developed using the Company continuous improvement, actively encouraging team participation
• To continually monitor and identify opportunities for cost reduction both individually and through Company continuous improvement initiative
• To ensure schedules are met in accordance with the Company requirements and effective expediting is carried out to meet such requirements
• To develop and ensure LEAN principles and practices are established in all Assembly activities.
• To work with Quality to ensure all quality issues are resolved in timely fashion. Ensuring appropriate paper work is in place and signed by relevant staff, customer or supplier
• To be responsible for maintaining and storing all relevant production records
