Our client is the market leader in high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands who require a programme buyer
Maintain corporate target for component quality certification
Support and prepare presentation material for senior management review
Represent purchasing in cross functional meetings
Co-ordinate internal programme and external supplier events
Manage current car and programme communications
Manage appropriate escalation of sourcing, timing and cost issues
Liaise with off shore team
Support and develop process improvements
Excel and Microsoft office skills
Highly organised
Ability to prepare, interpret and present data to management
Confident communicator
Ability to learn new IT operating systems
Purchasing experience preferably automotive)
Project co-ordination and organisation
A level HNC/HND
Degree level MCIPS preferred
Travelling between sites will be required
