Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial engines. They now have a 24 month fixed term contract position for a Section Manager (Supply Chain).
A vacancy has arisen for a Section Manager for the stores team. The Stores team handle material from receipt to point of use. The team consists of approximately 35 Stores Operators and Team Leads. This busy and challenging area requires individuals with high levels of commitment and the ability to respond quickly and decisively to customer demands in a rapidly changing environment.
You must possess leadership ability gained through project involvement or a supervisory role, have competent PC skills, be a good communicator, a willingness to accept leader training where required and also have operations understanding of Manufacturing or Logistics processes flow of material from receipt to assembly.
