Master Scheduler (Permanent). My client is a leading global organisation within the automotive industry in the design, development, manufacture and support of Off-Highway Transmissions. Due to continued company growth they are recruiting for Master Scheduler on a permanent basis with a salary up to £33,000pa. This role will be based in Wolverhampton.

The Role:
To develop and manage a master scheduling process for a product group which is innovative and promotes maximization of efficiency and optimization of resources/assets internally while retaining enough flexibility to ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely and cost-conscious manner.

Job Responsibilities:
Construct deliveries and build plan taking into account-demonstrated capacity/constraints.
Plan safety stocks in line with MPS procedure, flexible customer freeze periods.
Fix Sales Operations Planning monthly
Prepare weekly PRP taking into account build arrears and customer demand.
Run daily IPT meetings to maintain plan integrity and communicate real time issues.
Run weekly MPS meetings, present updated sales, build and 0-4 months, communicate changes to plan.
SandOP data - Local and Global data
Develop a valid production plan and an achievable master schedule for the business unit
Develop and distribute the measurements and reports necessary to monitor progress towards goals and provide a feedback loop through which decisions can be made regarding short-term scheduling
Assign and achieve customer delivery/promise dates by setting and managing shop priorities. Prepare master schedule for publication, after soliciting input from other business units, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, logistics and external business partners.

Experience and Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and manufacturing supply chains.
Working understanding of Assembly plant operations.
Understanding demonstrated capacity/organisation constraints.
Personal integrity able to act on own initiative and is comfortable making decisions.
Good time management skills, relaxed and effective under pressure.
Excellent telephone manner combined with strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Computer literate Microsoft Office, Excel and prior AS400 experience excel.

Package:
Salary up to £33,000pa plus benefits
