We are recruiting for a Mechanical Associate Engineer on a 6-month contract based in Peterborough.
As Mechanical Associate Engineer you will be responsible for managing the spare parts associated with customer project engines, after engines have gone into applications and are being used in the field.
- Maintaining BOMs for prototype engines.
- Managing stock of prototype engine parts.
- Reviewing project engine BOM and updating in line with design change
- Prototype parts management
- Build and test record keeping
- Updating and maintaining accurate BOMs
- Providing spare parts and technical support to field follow engineers

Qualifications:
Engine expertise is required.The ability to read engineering drawings will be beneficial, as is experience in build or test of prototype of production products.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members and others in the direct work group, as well as workshop technicians and logistics staff
