A Senior Buyer is required by a major international manufacturing organization. At the company`s site in Suffolk a range of products for domestic and industrial utilization are designed, engineered and manufactured for distribution within the UK and overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer to contribute to the financial success of this global player.
As Senior Buyer you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of materials, services and components by focussing on overall "business costs". In addition, be responsible for advantageous commercial terms to the Company, conducive with maintaining good relations and continuity of supply.
Person Specification -
Ideally, educated to Degree level or equivalent experience.
C 5 years purchasing experience, gained within a high volume manufacturing environment
Excellent negotiation skills
German language skills advantageous.
