Our client is the market leader in high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands and they are seeking to recruit three Project Engineers on a 6-month contract.

As Project Engineer, you will develop vehicle quality standards, ie A3 sized laminated sheets as supplements to shopfloor process instruction sheets that clearly show in words and pictures the OK quality standard for a finished job.
- In line with Engineering and the Quality Standards Manual.
- Vehicle Standards work involves:
* visiting and viewing actual vehicles or e-cubes that show the desired condition, taking photographs, adding wording to explain the photos, liaising with personnel to clarify the correct interpretation.
* obtaining approval then issuing to Manufacturing.

Procedure Writing work involves
- liaising with stakeholders to develop understanding and check the strategy eg aims, scope, resources, requirements for key process steps and correct interpretation.
- developing the content to suit in our template.
- improving the wording with SMEs and users, updating as required.
- submitting for approval when draft OK.
- progressing concurrences and dealing with any follow ups and / or updates.
- obtaining authorisation and publication.

Skills Required:
* Knowledge of Vehicle Manufacturing.
* Knowledge of Quality Control/Assurance.
*Organisation and planning skills plus ability to work on own.
* Ability to take clear pictures with a basic digital camera, and perform basic editing.
* Ability to interpret Engineering requirements and put into language easily understood by shopfloor personnel.
* Ability to use XL, Word and Powerpoint.
* Ability to write clearly and succinctly, and make documents "flow", easy to read and the like.

Education Required:
* O Levels in English and Maths or equivalen
