Client Information

Our Yorkshire-based client is a global Tier 2 designer and manufacturer of advanced electronic and electromechanical products for the automotive industry including control units, sensors, monitors and motors

Main Duties

Main requirements establish and perform project management in line with company procedures and ensure that all project targets are achieved within budget and timeframe to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. Will be working closely with external customers

Job description

- Ensure that, at the kick-off phase for each project, targets are calculated for critical path timing, product quality, investment budgets and product gross margin

- Responsible for ensuring that project is controlled throughout the project and that all targets are met no later than Start of Production

-Manage communication within the project team is sufficient to achieve project targets and external communication is published within the organisation as necessary.

- Will be responsible for leading, monitoring, controlling and reporting upon multiple projects at any one time

- Project values range to multi million pound and can last between 12-18 months pre project, and will be working on several projects at a time with support from the various internal teams,

Key skills and experience

- Candidates should ideally be Degree Educated in engineering discipline

-Previous experience of working in the Automotive Industry

-Candidate should be able to communicate effectively in German, preferred by a number or international customers

-To provide concise, accurate reports to senior management on a regular basis throughout the time span of the project

-Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful management of multiple projects, objectives and deadlines
