A Chassis Damping Software Engineer with Chassis electronics knowledge is required to work within Electrical Engineering on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.
The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
-The Vehicle Dynamic Systems team, within Chassis electronics, delivers in-house controls and software for damping, air suspension, active roll bars and terrain response. The role is to coordinate work, relating to the delivery of software and hardware to the vehicle programmes.
-Working with system engineers to ensure timely delivery of software and hardware requirements and test plans.

Experience / education required:
-Software lifecycle knowledge.
-Previous experience in the automotive industry including project management , release, and validation / sign-off activities.
-Degree in Electronics, Software, Automotive / Aerospace engineering or similar subject.
