Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of Aerostructures for both civil and military Aerospace markets, and they are currently looking to appoint a new Composites Manufacturing / Facilities Engineer to work on Composite Production / Tooling / Test Facilities development on their A350XWB Trailing Edge Secondary Structure program.

Reporting to the Engineering Technical Lead and in conjunction with the Manufacturing Engineering Team, work will include capital equipment specification, selection, installation and commissioning for manufacture for both in-autoclave and out-autoclave panels. They will also develop capacity plans for rate manufacture and plan capital equipment purchases and installation to coincide with rate increases.

Candidates must be educated to Degree-level in Aerospace or a related Engineering discipline, and possess a strong working knowledge of composite manufacturing, testing equipment and processes. They will need to interpret and develop project plans, capacity plans, and have a good understanding of factory simulation techniques and the implementation of new equipment into an existing and / or new facility. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to think clearly and creatively under pressure to solve complex problems. They must also be PC literate, with proficiency in MS Project and AutoCad.
