A Electrical Engineering Programme Planner is required to work within Electrical Engineering on contract for our Client, an OEM specialising in luxury and SUV/Off road vehicles.
The position will be based in the West Midlands.

Positions description:
-Develop high level and detailed project timing plan in line with GPDS which can be used to track progress of the programme from early concept through to the Gateway.
-Identify areas of risk within plans, and develop contingency actions.
-Assist in the co-ordination of the projects including setting up the agendas of weekly Senior management and department reviews.
-Compile management reports and associated metrics to support senior management reviews.
-Co-ordinate and drive the team to manage the completion for the programme milestones.

Experience / education required:
-Coordinate the Electrical Product definition work with other Centres of Competences, Vehicle Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and OEM core Electrical design teams.
-Coordinate with the EE Systems Strategy and Business case development team for programme competitor benchmarking and gain a good understanding of competitor best practice.
-Facilitate the transition of the programme from Advanced Electrical Engineering to the core Electrical department.
-Consider whole lifecycle including bill of process, bill of design, service (diagnostics, upgradeable systems etc)
-Good analytical / reconciliation skills with particular attention to the detail.
-Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Business related subject.
