Our client is a small, friendly and hardworking company that specialise in high precision components, a respected local firm that have been trading for more than 10 years and possess an impressive volume of work gained through repeat business for an established client base.
They are looking to appoint a new Toolmaker to further enhance their growing engineering team and are looking for a candidate with a solid background in press tooling.
The role is working with very small, complex and high precision products as they are currently working with mobile phone providers. Specific experience in wire erosion and a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD would also be desirable.
Applicants must be enthusiastic and motivated, possessing excellent communication skills, and will have the opportunity to learn new skills, further develop their careers and potentially move up within the company. The company are forecasting a very busy and productive 2013 so it is imperative that candidates are comfortable working in a fast paced environment and delivering to deadlines.
The successful applicant will be able to start immediately start on a day shift pattern (0730-1630, Mon-Thurs and 0730-1230 Fri) with overtime available.
