Industrial Engineer (23319) - Automotive - Merseyside - £21.43/hr Ltd

An Industrial Engineer, with previous automotive manufacturing experience is required, preferably with a working knowledge of GSPAS and APT systems. This is for a leading automotive manufacturer based in the Merseyside area.

Working within the New Model Manpower Planning Team, the Industrial Engineer will be work closely with the Body Construction and Final Assembly team to set the work standards, create efficient work allocations and headcount required for a quality launch, resulting in a minimisation of costs.

You must have:

* Industrial Engineering background including Multiple Activity Chart (MAC), standard time generation.
* Method study to drive improvement and set effective standard times and experience of assembly line balancing
* Working knowledge of GSPAS and APT systems
* IMS Certificate or equivalent background training

This is a varied role requiring an ability to communicate effectively within a manufacturing environment and deal with demanding customers both from production and new model programme teams.
