World leading F1 team based in Northampton is seeking 5 experienced manufacturing engineers asap with a solid background in CNC machining (4 or 5 axis machining centres).  You will worked in a small batch, high precision machining environment ideally in non-ferrous materials (aluminium, light weight alloys).  These roles are initially 6 month contracts starting asap after which the roles will be reviewed with likely extension.  There are two types of engineer required across the 5 roles.

i) manufacturing / production engineers to select speeds / feeds / machining sequence AND program using Openmind HYPERMILL. 

ii) manufacturing / production engineer to work on continuous process improvement and design Jigs and fixtures using CATIA.

 

Rates are not being advertised for these roles but are set and available on application.  In all cases a day rate is paid whereby a working day is 8.5hrs a day but some overtime is usually expected depending on work load.  Any weekend work is optional and paid as overtime.  All positions are day shift.

 

Applications are welcome from all candidates that have relevant work experience.  For all positions you must have manufacturing engineering experience with precision CNC; and for position i) hypermill is essential, for position ii) CATIA is essential (both will be tested at interview).
