Maintenance Engineer - Smethwick: £21.00/hr Ltd (Contract)

A Maintenance Engineer with a solid background in PLC’s and Robots is required for a leading sheet steel provider to the automotive
industry with its UK operation supplying to some of the industry’s leading OEM’s including JaguarLandrover, BMW and Nissan.
This role is part of exciting new expansion plans for the business and will joining a growing maintenance team responsible for all reactive maintenance, TPM scheduling and use of CMMS systems to log all machine downtime data. You will also maintain the engineering stores system and ordering spares as required whilst liaising with other areas of the business as required.
You must have experience with:
- PLC’s and Robots (this is an essential requirement)
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Experience of 16th or 17th Edition regulations.
- Ideally time-served apprenticeship grounding.
This is an initial 6-month Contracting role working a 3-shift rotating pattern (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6).
The Pay Rate is up to £21.00/hr Ltd Co depending on experience and can offer excellent career opportunities for this growing organisation.
