Maintenance Engineer x2 - Automotive - Gloucestershire: £33-£35K

A world leader, first tier automotive supplier is looking to appoint a permanent Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in breakdown repair coverage for all manufacturing plant, carry out planned preventive maintenance in line with pre-determined schedules and to assist with training operators and craftsmen.

Experience required:

- Ideally machine tools with a view to minimize downtime and improving machine availability and reliability.
- In implementing FLM and PPM activities whilst being cost aware at all times.
- Training Operators and Craftsmen in performing First Line and Planned Maintenance Activities as and when required.
- Attending Production, Quality, Engineering and associated meetings representing the maintenance department as and when necessary.
- Liaising with machine tool suppliers / representatives for the purchase of machine tool spares and be cost conscious, achieving savings where possible
- Must be conversant with Electricity at Work Regulations, COSHH and safety at Work Regulations

The salary range for this role is £33-£35,000.00 depending on experience. If this role is of interest to you please forward your CV as soon as possible.

Ideally, you have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship and hold a minimum HNC qualified, or equivalent along with experience of working in a machine tool production environment.
