The team is also responsible for defining and maintaining Central Car Configuration mechanism, parameters, and ruleset.

Candidate’s primary duties would include:
•Responsibility for design of vehicle CAN and LIN network signalling in VNA
•Cascading networks standards
•Planning and running the Networks DVP, including circuit reviews and practical labcar testing

Job Requirements

Position Description:
Electrical/Electronic Components Special Vehicle Engineer

AWD Project Engineer will work in the SVE AWD team supporting development of AWD applications for future models. Will also have responsibility for OPD, TVM and quality actions on current model AWD.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of automotive systems. Prior knowledge of G8D or similar concern resolution process essential, problem solving experience, good communication skills/presentation skills and good team player.

Skills Preferred:
Prior knowledge and skills working on driveline or transmission systems would be an advantage. Knowledge of OEM design and releasing systems especially WERS and AVBOM.

Experience Required:
System and component design experience in the field of automotive electrical or electronic engineering.

Experience Preferred:
Prior experience with commercial vehicle applications.

Education Required:
Candidates must have a minimum of HNC/HND in electrical or electronic field, ideally educated to Degree level.

Our client acquires, develops and applies new ideas and improved components to support their customer s products. They also offer design, development, manufacture and software services and products to the aerospace, space, energy and transport industries.

This is an exciting contract role working with the Quality Manager on a range of Quality disciplines; you`ll be supporting the Quality function and this role has a bias towards first article inspection and CMM. Within the role, you`ll be dealing with general enquiries from customers and employees alike in respect to Quality procedures and standards using Quality methodology (RCA etc).

Experience is required in performing a similar role as is using precision machinery for measuring (verniers etc); aerospace experience would be perfect (working to AS9100 standards) and familiarity with ISO standards.

You must have experience of completing audits, virtually unassisted, both in house and on suppliers; you don`t need to be IRCA registered but must have demonstrable experience of this skill.
Role Requirements:

This contract role is an immediate start and the length is up until Christmas; rates are good and dependent on experience. Rates to be discussed at submission stage.
