An Electrical Programme Manager is required to work for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.

Description
Position Description:
As part of the Electrical Programme Team, drive adoption of the Electrical Cost process through Electrical PMST's and Engineers, giving leadership and support. Control the Electrical Cost status within the a given Programme, providing updates on Status, Risks and Opportunities. Ensure teams are delivering to financial targets and where necessary recovery road maps are in place. Job Requirements
...Lead cost recovery / Revenue generation workshops with all areas within Electrical Engineering. Support Project Reviews and Senior Reviews within Electrical Engineering and the Programme. Provide a focal point for Electrical Engineering commercial items with the given Programme. Coordination Programme Change Notifications within Electrical Engineering. Ensure alignment between department and programme cost databases. Ensure Orders / Payments are progressed through approvals process and work to resolve any roadblocks. Analyse supplier quotes. Analyse Vendor Tooling and Design & Development costs.

Details
Skills Required:
Ability to lead the commercial aspects of a programme within a Project Team environment. Self motivated, enthusiastic, pro-active, demonstrates initiative, with ability to work with minimum supervision. Experience in a commercial environment. Able to analyse supplier quotation breakdowns to highlight error. Able to demonstrate good commercial awareness and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, PC literate, especially MS office. Presentation skills. Full driving licence.

Experience Preferred:
Experience within a finance or Purchasing environment. Experience of financial Bill of Materials. Experience of Cost analysis or TVM.

Education Required:
Degree qualified - ideally in a technical or commercial discipline. (desirable)
