A Linux Software Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Position Description:
Management of software licenses (Open Source & Fee based) for Next Generation Infotainment (NGI). The software will be related to a Linux distribution, be GENIVI Compliant, and will be linked to various web portals. Required to support RFQ in September 2011, and onwards into software production.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Project Management experience. Understanding of software development and licensing.
Skills Preferred:
Clearcase C++
Experience Required:
Past experience of managing software in automotive, consumer electronics or telecoms industry.

Education Required:
Engineering, Software or IT Qualification.
Education Preferred:
Ideally degree qualified.
Additional Information:
Multiple locations specified.
