PT Tribology CAE Analyst
West Midlands, England
Our automotive client is a market leader in luxury and high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands.
In this highly specialised role, candidates will be involved from the very start of each project program, throughout the design and on into development stages. Through friction analysis, you will help meet ever reduced fuel economy standards and cold climate requirements.
Candidates will also conduct sub-system level friction analysis, lubrication analysis and wear analysis, ensuring appropriate levels of performance, quality and durability are met.
Ideal candidates would have:
- Experience in numerical modelling techniques.
- Computer programming skills.
- Knowledge and experience in Tribology gained though Post Graduate/doctorate research.
- Fundamental knowledge of the powertrain and in particular the engine system / subsystems.
- Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Project delivery/co-ordination skills.
