Our client is the leading design and manufacturer of electric heaters and control systems for safe, flameproof and hazardous area applications. The range includes immersion heaters, process heaters, air warmers, explosion proof heaters, fuel gas heaters, fuel oil heaters, line heaters etc. The role of Sales Manager is based in East Anglia and will require overseas travel.
You will be responsible for the management of the UK sales office including administration and sales force management. Current sales regions managed by this office includes Europe, Russia (inc CIS) and South/ North America. You will ensure the sales force achieves agreed sales targets and accurate order target projections for the regions, supervise all sales team activities including design, costing, price setting, clarification and contract handover and undertake the overall management of contract commercial negotiations with clients for new contracts and contract variations and identify any new product development and certification requirements. In addition, you will prepare and complete a Monthly Sales Report and other associated reports within seven working days of the end of each calendar month.
You will be responsible for building a pipeline of prospective revenue opportunities to achieve annual revenue target, researching and qualifying additional sales leads to the pipeline through developing new clients and identifying new business opportunities and plan conducting visits to Design houses/engineering contractors/package vendors within region, targeting maximum possible appointments per visit. You will also be responsible for technical presentations to major operators and contractors operating within the oil, gas, petrochemical and related industries, manage and update company CRM database regularly and undertake the registration of the company as an approved supplier on all the projects identified and ensure all the key players involved are approached.
In addition you will follow up all quotations and pursue their outcome to a productive conclusion and will undertake the identification, management and recommendation of Agents and relevant agreements.
