A New Electronic Off Road Feature Systems Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Responsible for ensuring the robust delivery of an advanced feature being designed for off road vehicles and co-developing the generic system specification for future systems
Skills Required:
Ability to deliver a complex Engineering System/commodity to a set timeframe.
Good communication skills.
Ability to generate and understand Engineering Specifications, functional DVPs and robust sign off documentation.
Skills Preferred:
Understanding of engineering design quality toolsets/processes - FMEA, Interface Analysis, 6-Sigma
Job Requirements
Experience Required:
Previous experience of delivering complex Engineering systems to a fixed timeframe and budget.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of automotive Driver Assistance Systems.
Experience of specifying/verifying automotive electrical commodities.
Knowledge of ultrasonic sensing systems. Knowledge of toolsets and processes - GPDS, eFDVS, AIMS, WERS
Knowledge of Vehicle Multiplex systems - CAN, LIN and associated analysis tools Knowledge of ECU Diagnostics - Diagnostic protocols and DTCs
