A Wind Noise Launch Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
Wind Noise Launch Engineer covering:
Wind noise representative at daily start up meeting and launch AIMs reviews.
Present the wind noise status to the Launch Team at the relevant NML Reviews.
Attend root cause issues meetings and respond.
Assess & dynamic audit as required, leading root cause investigation of issues.
Prepare evaluation vehicles.
Coordinate update of fleet and respond to issues
Job Requirements
Work with Centre of Competence and SME to monitor build identifying potential wind noise issues and recommending solutions.

Skills Required:
Good team player, able to lead a virtual team of design, development, and manufacturing associates to identify and resolve wind noise and EBHS design and manufacturing issues. Good background in general engineering methods and standards. Experience of problem solving tools e.g. Six Sigma, etc. and quality engineering processes e.g. FMEA, Form 4 mapping, DOE, etc.
Experience Required:
Experience of wind noise (track and wind tunnel based testing) and EBHS testing is desirable. Ideally experienced in AIMS and Product Change Management.
