Our client designs and manufactures aerostructures for both the civil and military aerospace markets. They are currently seeking an Engineering Operations Leader to be based out of there southern office but working closely with a number of overseas locations.
Role Summary/Purpose :
The Aerostructures Engineering Operations Leader will take responsibility for leading a variety of strategic initiatives and operational tasks across the business. . The business primarily focuses on nacelles, thrust reversers, and wing trailing edge products for commercial and military platforms and is enjoying significant growth. The Engineering Opeartions Leader will provide engineering leadership across the business and ensure delivery to plan.
Responsibilities:
Compile and report on all engineering metrics for the aerostructures business .
Support the establishment of design boards and the development of design practices across the aerostructures group.
Monitor and track headcount, supply and demand, cost, productivity, and adherence to schedule across the aerostructures group.
Identify and drive business improvement initiatives.

Support and drive the development of planning tools to allow the business to have greater visibility of future need.
Qualifications/Requirements :
Bachelor`s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline or Demonstrable experience leading multi-disciplined Engineering teams
