A leading automotive company are looking for a Studio Engineer
This is a 6 month contract with a competitve hourly rate.
You will be expected to support the design studio from sketch phase through clay development to surface release. Provide solutions to engineering problems for both production and possible show vehicles using CATIA and ergonomic bucks as mediums to solve issues. Chair appropriate meetings to facilitate efficient vehicle design. Support designers who are using CAS, clay or Alias. Must have a good automotive knowledge and be prepared to look at new designs and find possible solutions to engineering and design issues.
Qualifications and Experience Required
We are looking for applicants with a minimum of a HNC, ideally with a qualification to Degree or equivalent level. You will have extensive automotive industry experience in a vehicle packaging or studio engineering role and be PC literate with a minimum of 3 years experience using CATIA V5.
