Manufacturing Engineering - Program Leader required for an automotive company based in Kent
Description
A world leader in the innovation, design and manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection equipment are now looking for an Manufacturing Engineer - Program Leader to take responsibility for the planning and coordination of the Pump Manufacturing Engineering Phase 0-2 team activities to ensure that each program launch meets the key target dates with all the ME key deliverables completed correctly ( MQ2, Capabilities, Cycle Times, Documentation etc..)
Job Requirements
Main responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer will include:
Customer Programs, collect the information from within Product Engineering and Project Management , build a specification package, set a plan with Manufacturing Engineering Leaders to ensure Process readiness in due time to match customer milestone.
To set up regular meetings with the ME Leaders to review progress and to issue a regular report.
Prepare Drawing and Model packages as requested by ME Leaders to provide to suppliers.
Follow all ME Prototype and Sample Requirements to carry out the necessary trails and Machine Qualifications via DDP System.
To co-ordinate with the MEAQEs to ensure the correct level of documentation (PFD, PFMEA, CP, Standards Cell and EOP) are completed.
Details
As the Manufacturing Engineer - Program Leader you will have strong experience as ME 0-2 Process Engineer and/or ME PH3 engineer in APU with the ability and experience to manage and participate in teamwork, plus right interpersonal communications skills
Must be self motivated with good English spoken and written.
Must be able and flexible to travel in Europe (Spain, Romania) and willing to work in an international environment.
