An experienced Quality Manager is required to work with a world leader within the aerospace industry - their products are at the forefront of the world`s aerospace markets, and they seek a Quality Manager to lead, drive and upskill the Quality department.
You will be familiar with requirements of EASA 145, ISO9001 and NADCAP, you will liaise with various external Authorities and Agencies including CAA, FAA, BSI and PRI. You will be responsible for Internal and External Auditing. You will be familiar with continuous improvement initiatives, and be responsible for establishing, developing and implementing robust quality systems. As Quality Manager you will establish departmental procedures including technique sheets and standard operating procedures. Supplier quality will also be the responsibility of the Quality Manager, working with and developing suppliers to ensure they are working in line with the correct requirements.
As Quality Manager you will be responsible for establishing plans to eliminate the need for third party inspection functions, to reduce the defect rate, and to improve process stability (both in house and with suppliers). You will also put in place training programmes for the quality team.

You will have successfully managed a team in a previous role.
