A Hybrid Components V5 Package Leader is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Description
A Hybrid Components V5 Package Leader Leading a group of CAD engineers
The role is responsible for :
Strategy to incorporate the HEV components (HV battery, Inverter, DCDC converter and other associated parts) into the D7a Platform vehicles.
Development of concept for the installation of HEV components into D7a platform vehicles with maximum commonality.
Delivery of CAD compliance to vehicle package hard point definitions, legal requirements, FMC trustmarks, requirements and specifications demonstrated by appropriate CAD models and dimensional analysis.
Delivery of 100% component geometric compatibility demonstrated by appropriate CAD models. Resolve all Package actions resulting from prototype build and test activities are to the satisfaction of the Project leaders.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Catia V5. Proven team leadership skills.
Proven negotiation and communication skills.
Proven ability to resolve complex cross functional issues.
A high level of diligence and personal integrity.
Ability to work within a team.
Sound judgement.

Skills Preferred:
OEM Teamcentre.

Details
Experience Required:
In addition to developing CAD models in Catia 5, the candidate must have experience of leading Packaging activities (i.e. lead team to develop feasible package solutions and resolve any package issues. Agree actions and assign to CAD engineers).

Experience Preferred:
Packaging and CAD experience in a complex engineering environment.

Education Required:
HND or higher.
