Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Systems Engineeras such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below: In this role you will be required to design and deliver solutions for the electrical and vehicle integration aspects of engineering projects. You will need to provide expertise in the areas of vehicle electrical systems and vehicle networking, as well as keep abreast of future developments in all areas.
- Design of vehicle electrical systems
- Interfacing to vehicle networks (e.g. CAN)
- Validation of vehicle electrical and diagnostic systems
- Preparation of electrical schematics.
- Design of vehicle harnesses.
- Specification and selection of electrical components including sensors, connectors and actuators.
- Testing and evaluation of electrical components.
- Integration of components and systems onto existing vehicle systems.
- Preparation of BOMs and liaison with component and wiring harness suppliers.
- ommissioning and fault finding of vehicle electrical systems.
- Preparation of FMEAs and design validation documentation.
- reparation and monitoring of project plans.
