The bulk of our work is for external clients and with facilities in the UK, the USA, Malaysia and China, we provide out technology and services to the global automotive industry in the areas of Lightweight architectures, efficient performance, electrical and electronic integration and driving dynamics.

This is a 6 month contract which will most likely roll and last all year
Euro 5 calibration of a Continental EMS (we have done Euro 4 already) this will be emissions lab and drivability work including diagnostic development and resolving residual issues from Euro 4 work. This is for an Asian client hence the possible need for overseas travel however vast majority of work is UK based. Project will run for all of this year.

We are doing the engine calibration the transmission calibration is being done by the CVT supplier the job is to get the drivability of the driveline in the vehicle to the required level so we will liaise with the transmission supplier to understand interface issues but not directly calibrate the transmission.
Ability to use INCA problem solving and analytical skills. EMS is Continental so experience on this would be an advantage, however diagnostics experience is probably more of a benefit regardless of what EMS they have worked on. Engine control is torque based so experience in this area is useful.

Calibration experience of on board diagnostics essential experience of Continental / Siemens engine management preferred, Ability to go on overseas field trips (Malaysia) potentially required.
