Our client is part of a major international manufacturing organization, with some of the best-known household brands in the world. This site is responsible for the design, engineering development and manufacture of a range of products for domestic and industrial utilization in the UK and abroad.
The main responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are:
To work within a multi-discipline team and also to have direct involvement with all related functions, both internally and with suppliers.
To set standards for excellence for the QMM department and the business.
To audit processes and systems to ensure necessary standards are met and, wherever possible, improved.
To actively promote the quality policy in all areas of involvement.
To support the organisation and the business needs in a constantly changing commercial climate.
As a key member of the Quality Team, you will take a pro-active approach to ensure that quality systems are maintained and continuously improved.
To follow necessary internal procedures for project introduction and develop/improve them to attain the required level of customer satisfaction
To ensure product design performance criteria are defined and met.
To ensure that Production delivery quality is maintained to agreed target levels.
To ensure that processes and systems, necessary for the maintained product quality levels, are established, reviewed and improved wherever possible.
To audit processes and systems to ensure necessary standards are met and maintained.
To produce reports and presentations as required by the business.
In addition, the Quality Engineer has specific responsibility for the Quality Management System, Testing, Reporting and Quality Improvements.

You will be qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline.
