Our client specialises in the design and build of high quality, professional, reliable electrical systems for the motorsport industry. The wiring looms produced can be found in every application including Rally, World Touring Cars, GT, CART and F1. They are in the process of opening a facility in the US to support a recent contract award to supply wire harnesses to NASCAR.
They are currently seeking a Wire Harness Builder to work in Essex. Applicants must have the ability to manufacture high quality, complex, multi-leg wiring looms to military standards. Ideally candidates will possess experience of harness discipline within the aerospace/defence or Motorsport industries. Build and test wire harness for motorsport and/or niche automotive. Must have built a wire harness previously. Will consider a graduate that has taken part in Formula Student and worked on wire harness. Long term opportunity to provide track support to clients.
Must be adaptable, workloads can vary. Team player, small company requires everyone to work together to achieve goal. Attention to detail. Training is available for a Graduate, however they must have the correct attitude.
Candidates will have experience of producing harnesses using Raychem System 25 products. The ability to contra wind cables layouts and experience of using CIRRIS test equipment.
