Paint Process Engineer (Plastic Injection Moulded Parts) Required-Must Have Management, NPI and Budget Control Experience

Description
A leading injection moulding firm supplying the automotive OEM companies with exterior trim and part of a large global group.

Job Requirements
They are looking for a person to manage and develop the technical team in relation to the paint line wet paint process. There is a heavy continuous improvement/quality aspect to the role also so experience with PDCA, 5Y or 8D would be distinctively advantageous. You must have experience of performing a similar task within a paint shop at supervisory or management levels, ideally working on large plastic injection moulded parts. Leading a team is of particular relevance for this role as is experience from the Automotive sector and working to TS standards. Further duties include NPI into the paint plant, designing jigs and running paint trials, coordinating robot programmes and looking after a budget of circa £250K.
