A Targets & Sign Off Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in the West Midlands.
Description
Targets & Sign Off Engineer - working closely with the project team, COC project leaders & the PAT`s. Responsibilities will include:
-Support the development of targets & design verification plans through the application of the electronic ford design verification system (eFDVS) to meet key project milestone deliverables
-Support the resolution of cross functional technical conflicts & engineering issues through the project`s vehicle integration team meeting forum
-Facilitate & report the delivery & achievements of targets & DVP`s to achieve preliminary & final engineering completion
-Facilitate & champion the PAT process on behalf of the vehicle engineering manager.
Job Requirements
Skills required:
The candidate should have thorough knowledge of whole vehicle engineering & integration, & sound `first principles` engineering knowledge with computer literacy. The candidate should be organised, self-motivated, confident & able to provide leadership to interfacing activities & to present data professionally to a senior level.
Skills preferred:
Knowledge of our client’s PD processes.
Details
Experience required:
Proven experience of delivering whole vehicle attribute delivery.
Experience preferred:
Proven experience of delivering whole vehicle attribute delivery within the OEM business.
Education required:
Preferably educated to a degree level in engineering.
Additional information:
Travel may be required between all sites within the West Midlands.
