Based at our clients major manufacturing facility and the lead plant for worldwide sales of high horsepower engines, supplying international markets in the electricity generating, mining, marine and locomotive sectors.

Due to growth plans they are now looking for a Sourcing Manager and as such we welcome applications who meet the criteria below:

• Implementation of lowest total cost of ownership sourcing strategy for assigned commodities within EMEA
• Supplier capacity planning,performance management and report card communication on key supplier performance targets to user entities and sourcing team
• Participate in the sourcing team s global sourcing strategy for assigned commodities and develop commitment locally to ensure cross functional participation / buy in and timely implementation.
• Provide leadership for analysing key trends / issues in global supply and TCO
• Ensure that the sourcing team and user entities are supported with timely information and supplier feedback on any key constraints and / or improvement opportunities with assigned suppliers
• Participate in and,as needed,provide leadership to the supplier selection process on new or transitioning components
• Lead and support supplier negotiation sessions including articulating clear negotiation strategies (in conjunction with EMEA and sourcing team leadership)
• Ownership of warranty recovery process from EMEA supply base within assigned commodities
