An Aero Acoustic CFD Analyst is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Description
CFD analysis of aero-acoustic CFD using PowerFLOW: Preparation, submission and analysis of aero-acoustic CFD models. Meshing of components using ANSA for use within CFD models. Meshing of surfaces/components to required standard to use with CFD models. Support the delivery of the wind noise performance on future model lines. Working with Wind Noise Engineers, Design and Aerodynamics to ensure that the component designs and vehicle exterior style support the wind noise attribute requirements.

Skills Required:
Able to work at a good independent working level using the below software applications: EXA PowerFLOW, ANSA, TCE (team centre engineering). Good data analysis and PC skills. Excellent team working and adaptability are essential. Applicants require good presentation skills to represent the wind noise attribute within the project/program.

Experience Required:
Previous CFD experience using PowerFLOW is essential Also working knowledge of the below (although training can be provided): ANSA, TCE.
Education Required:
HND/Degree in Engineering or comparable qualification or relevant experience.
Applicants MUST have proof of immediate and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK.
