My client a globally known market leader based in the North East
Employing 700 people on the site, the business is undergoing significant investment in manufacturing processes and office facilities.

The primary role of the Manufacturing Engineer will be to accelerate the professional introduction of process improvements and capital expenditure processes utilising solid proven project management skills and the company systems.
Will be responsible for the day to day running of the 24/7 maintenance team, working, scheduled maintenance, emergancy breakdown work and new equipment implementation along with identifying for process improvement
Other main duties of the role include: plan, order, develop and implement manufacturing systems/operations for new and old processes, test cells, tooling, material handling, to reduce cost, raise quality and improve responsiveness for an assigned project
Requirements
Prefer a minimum of HNC plus 5 years relevant experience in Maintenance and Engineering environments
Candidate would ideally have a background from the Automotive industry
A high level of practical technical knowledge in manufacturing equipment and related machinery
Candidates should be able to read engineering drawings, manuals and technical reports
Ability to deliver work to clearly defined plans to tight timescales
