A world leader in aerospace structures has a new opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to lead a new programme. This position could be based in Southampton or Cheltenham. It could also be called Engineering Manager or Technical Programme Manager. This senior appointment commands a salary in the 50k to 70k band + good benefits. It is commutable of Fareham, Winchester and Bournemouth in one case, or is in range of Worcester, Bristol and S Wales in the other.
You will have responsibility for the technical programme management of a new civil aerospace programme relating to composite and metallic structures. You will manage budgets and risk and technical reviews with the customer.
You are likely to be degree qualified and have experience of leading an aerospace engineering team. Ideally this would be in a mechanical structures design field but this is not essential.
