Field Sales Executive

Our client is a leading distributor of specialist industrial components into industry, with a nationwide network of branches. As Field Sales Executive the main purpose of the role is to maximise revenue and profitability within a defined geographical sales territory or with a defined customer segment with specific identified customers.
To identify and maintain good professional working relationships with the existing customer base and to develop new customers by close networking, to actively target all opportunities for new business once known, and to act as the interface between the company, its customers and the marketplace. You will develop a pro-active customer visit plan to ensure all customers are visited within 60 days, continually seek to increase and improve quotation/tender opportunities and conversion rates and must be capable of deciding their sales promotional strategy with regard to product, price and commercial viability to maximise the company`s added value and to increase success rate on securing orders. Company benchmark for quotation/tender success rate is 1:4. You will also introduce Sale Pipeline Forecast methodology to improve the quality of sales effort, identify and target projects earlier, forecast market trends and reduce the "cost of sale".
You will work both as an individual and active team member in pursuit of customer satisfaction to the company benchmark and be expected to embrace the one company culture and focus your attention on the company`s needs. Additionally, you will co-ordinate and present company presentations to customer groups using all marketing material and tools available and also assist in organising promotional events.
