We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Conformance Engineer to join our market leading and expanding operation.

THE COMPANY:

We are specialists in complex high quality Castings. Our extensive facilities and experienced personnel provide the complete casting solution. We are a market leader in Prototype, Motorsport and low volume series Castings supported by our Engineering Tooling and Machining capabilities. This appointment, based in Shropshire, arises to support our continuing growth.

THE ROLE:

- Reports to our Foundry Manager and provides product engineering support for the New Product Introduction (NPI) process on all prototyping jobs.
- Ensures condition of supply is defined for all jobs.
- Engineering sign off of finishing processes that meet customer specification.
- Manages/creates specification and work instructions to point of use for inspection, measurement and testing.
- Customer liaison and support in a product engineering capacity.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

- On-time completion of product specifications/instructions for use by inspection department.
- Customer satisfaction.

THE PERSON:

- Strong technical grasp of castings and the machining of castings.
- Competent with engineering drawings and interpretations of the norms therein.
- Ability to plan and schedule your workload, ensuring priority deadlines are met.
- A team player willing and able to support the NPI process.
