Vehicle User Interface Trials Analyst

A Vehicle User Interface Trials Analyst is required to work on contract for our client who specialise in luxury cars, the position will be based in the West Midlands.

The requirement is to complete the evaluations and user trials for both the NGI and NLI infotainment systems.

The responsibility is for the evaluation process and validation of the Graphical User Interface. i.e. develop a strategy for user-trials, design/set-up/carry-out the user-trials, analyse the results and feedback recommendations to the HMI Attribute and Development teams.

The project will require the following:
-Adherence to relevant laid down standards and strategies.
-Following up of issues to their resolution.
-Conduct benchmarking of automotive competitors and other consumer electronics devices.
-Production of formal reports

Primary Skills Required:
-Ability to design and execute effective usability trials and analyse the results (design of experiments).
-Sound understanding of good HMI and ergonomic design principles for vehicle systems user-interfaces.
-Statistical analysis, problem solving and root-cause analysis.
-Clear and concise communicator.
-Ability to produce formal documentation to a professional standard.
-Design and execution of usability experiments
-Report writing
-Educated to degree level or equivalent in a related discipline
