Quality Manager -Manufacturing/Engineering -Norfolk -to £40k

We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Quality Manager to lead and manage our quality engineering and systems. You will further develop and implement the strategy for Quality systems for the Group. As a key member of the management team you will also help develop and set wider Company strategy and policy.
THE COMPANY:
We are a globally renowned designer and manufacturer of electric process heating and control systems. Our experience in the design of electric heaters for use in hazardous area locations is second to none. For both onshore and offshore applications we have the knowledge and expertise to produce equipment suitable for installation within the extreme environments commonly found in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical industries.
THE ROLE:
- Reports to our General Manager on the performance of the quality system.
- Manages, maintains and further develops quality systems for the Group.
- Manages and develops the quality team.
- Integrates the quality team into daily business operations.
- Reduces the cost of non-quality.
- Identifies and implements key business milestones to measure performance against quality criteria and customer satisfaction.
THE PERSON:
- Likely to have an HNC/HND or Degree in an Engineering related discipline.
- Background in Quality Control.
- Experience in a Quality role within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
- Strong people management skills.
THE BENEFITS:
The salary and benefits package is likely to be in the range £35k to £40k plus pension, healthcare, bonus and 25 days holiday. The agreement of terms is unlikely to be an obstacle in securing the right candidate.
We are based in Norfolk a county that has miles of unspoilt coastline, internationally important nature reserves, hundreds of picturesque villages, historic market towns, great seaside resorts, the magical waterland of The Broads and Norwich, a fantastic heritage, entertainment and shopping city.
The role is commutable from Norfolk, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge, Ely, Great Yarmouth, Ipswich, King's Lynn, Lowestoft, Newmarket, Norwich and Thetford.
