Expansion of the plant has genertated the need for additional support and the key duties for the Project Quality Engineer will be;
-Responsible for taking a lead on Project Quality for a number of New Product Introductions.
-Working closely with the project, process and manufacturing teams to ensure that future quality is planned effectively and meets the forward quality requirements of the customer, reacting to any customer queries and putting appropriate corrective actions in place to meet all project deadlines.

Other responsibilities will be;
-To provide Quality Engineering support to new product introduction programmes and on going support through product life
-Compile all PPAP documents ultimately leading to PSW sign off
-To troubleshoot quality issues, carry out root cause analysis and help implement robust corrective measures
-Facilitation of project continuous improvement via application of lessons learned processes
-Participate in supplier pre production meetings in order to establish project Quality assurance
-Support for on site manufacturing activities for allocated projects
-Control of Supplier and internal non conformities
-Develop working procedures, FMEA and Control Plans to ensure they are fully compliant with all relevant customer and certification standard requirements
-Interface with the Customer quality function
-Compilation, analysis and reporting of key project metrics including quality performance and deliverable status
-To provide supplier quality assistance as necessary in support of the purchasing function
-To strive to deliver excellence in all areas of the business

They will be tasked with coordinating and quality checking weight estimates conducted by second tier suppliers and providing expert advisory services to customers on all weight-related issues.
Full accountabilities include the timely and accurate preparation of mass properties reports for all programs, the supervision of a small staff of Weight Engineers and the checking of all mass properties estimates developed by the staff and additional sub-contractors, data management of changes to mass properties estimates by logging both incorporated and pending changes to the working database, active monitoring of the aircraft design and production for weight control practices, and the preparation and presentation of alternative design and build materials.

This is a permanent role for a person who can programme Kopp (to be written into Siemens programmes) to utilise the CNC machinery capabilities. This role, in essence, is to make sure that the machinery is able to produce the components within the allotted timescale to the product specification for production runs. The machinery in question is a 5 axis cylindrical grinder. You must have Landis grinding knowledge and the ability to use CAM also; the finished products are measured using an Adcole measuring machine. The role requires you to be apprentice trained or educated to NVQ Level 3 standards with proven Grinding experience as it's a role that will begin straight away. The experience that you have gained must be from a high precision environment and be used to working to tolerances of less than 5 microns.

In this role you will lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers (currently there are 50 Engineers on site) working in the machine shop; you must have demonstrable experience of managing an Assembly team. This role will be based on NPI from resourcing to DFM and to the finished product; a design background would be ideal as your input at the early stage can recommend how the product is best suited for it`s purpose.

They need a person with strong process/production experience and significant experience in continuous improvement (Green Belt qualified is preferable) as well as some form of business systems usage (MRP in particular). This is a role than will allow you to working the way you see most beneficial and lead a well performing team; you`ll impart knowledge in order to drive productivity improvements (quality driven) and adopt necessary change.

A small firm of social housing specialists are in need of a Project/Senior level Architect. They are a small, close knit team who are very busy at the moment and have projects lined up for the next year at least.
The practice works, almost exclusively, on social housing schemes (up to 300 units) with a bias towards extra care and sheltered accommodation. The role is at the forefront of the design process, taking schemes from Stage A and moving them through to D, competent technical ability would be very useful.

The schemes are largely dictated by funding and stringent HQI"s so we are looking for a person who ca maximise the potential of a site incorporating as much design as possible.
A track record of working in this sector would be very beneficial but not a pre requisite. The firm are ArchiCAD based so proficiency in this package would be very advantageous, they use V15 and render in Artlantis.
