Electronics Rig Test Technician

Leading Motorsport Team is looking to recruit an Electronics Rig Test Technician who will have responsibility for operating the test rigs in the Electronics environmental rig test facility, which includes a Maccor Battery test rig for characterising and evaluating single cells for use in KERS; an environmental test oven and vibration rig; and a Harass chamber for testing electronic assemblies.
Experience with battery cell testing would be ideal, with knowledge of data logging systems and sensors, and the ability to work with Mil specification wiring and connector systems. Candidates will possess initiative, be proactive and able to work unsupervised.
The role requires dedication and a willingness to work long hours to tight deadlines.
Qualified to HNC or equivalent level in Electronics and Instrumentation, you will run test programmes to evaluate different battery cells for use in KERS, write test profiles, generate reports and present results for use by engineers working in KERS and other Electronics projects.
