We are recruiting for an Data Management Engineer intially on a 12-month contract basis within the West Midlands.
You will be responsible for providing part number level reports / files to various departments detailing requirements to support specific vehicle builds. Liaising with vehicle launch teams you will use established IT systems to create and maintain the information whilst working accurately and meeting deadlines as appropriate.
Skills Required:
An experienced and proficient user of MS Excel and Access, able to write macros and develop using VB. Familiar with mainframe systems and techniques to generate and integrate data from various sources. Excellent communication skills, able to work to strict deadlines whilst delivering high quality information and reports. Able to interpret business requirements for information and develop appropriate solutions to deliver.
Skills Preferred:
Use of bespoke mainframe reporting systems
Experience Required:
Extensive use of MS Excel, Access and database development
Experience Preferred:
Appreciation of bill of material data structures (ideally automotive / similar)
Education Required:
Likely to be A level or equivalent
Education Preferred:
Relevant Logistics / IT qualification
