Sales Manager - C3 Systems required to deliver the strategy, direction and sales growth targets for maritime systems.

The role is based in Bucks and is commutable from Aylesbury, Uxbridge, Maidenhead, Henley, Watford, Oxford and West London.

Champion sales and tendering process from lead through to deal closure. Articulate the benefits and value of the company offering and differentiate the company approach. Forge and develop client relationships. Think strategically about the client needs and help unlock deeper issues faced by the client to extend the value offering and broaden company solutions. Network extensively and effectively with colleagues to understand the scope of our technologies and solutions. Assemble manage and motivate bid teams. Close deals.

An excellent first degree, preferably in an engineering or physics discipline. A relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous. A credible industry figure with a proven record of successful business development in a defence environment, over three years in a technical, commercial or consultancy business environment. Ideally experience of developing scalable business and forging innovative commercial relationships with partners. Likely to have experience of sales to government bodies and defence primes. Combat System and International sales experience an advantage. A self starter with a high degree of energy and ambition. Excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to listen and communicate confidently yet sensitively. Outstanding organisational, collaborative, inspirational, influencing and motivational skills. Quick witted with the intellect flexibility determination and sense of humour. Flexible with the ability to adapt to the changing needs. Able to understand technical products and solutions and convey their benefits. Creative and inventive, able to originate complex commercial solutions. Patient and tenacious with a strong negotiating style.
