A global supplier of finished rubber based finished assemblies to the Aerospace OEM`S and aftermarket. The business has enjoyed sustained growth over the past few years as air travel has developed globally. To maintain the volume increase there is substantial investment in people, plant and technology as well as the development of lean.

To manage a team of 30-40 operators via team leaders whilst managing crucial project for the business which could be the introduction of ERP or capital plant. The role is seen as crucial to take the business forward and will deputise for the plant manager and manage in his absence.

Candidates should have experience of managing in the rubber industry and be very conversant with lean and developing a change culture.
Manage a team of operators and manage the plant in the absence of the plant manager.

Excellent opportunity for career development with this expanding business. Involvement at the highest level in managing the business with input into the strategy for manufacturing. Position seen as the first step to a full position of manufacturing manager for the site of over 150 people.
